Notre Dame men’s basketball recruiting director Brian Snow leaves

The Notre Dame men’s basketball team has one of the best 2025 recruiting classes in the country. A lot of this can be attributed to director of recruiting Brian Snow, who came over from Penn State with Micah Shrewsberry. After two years together with the Nittany Lions, they were together with the Irish for the past two years, but no more.

ESPN has learned that Snow is leaving the program. While it’s unknown at this time what Snow’s next job will be, what is known is that the Irish will have to rely on someone else to deliver the recruiting class for 2026 and beyond. That means Shrewsberry trusting someone else, and that could be easier said than done given the expectations the new director will have in light of the 2025 class.

We wish Snow well in his future endeavors, and we wish the Irish in finding the right candidate to take his place:

The Irish are at a crucial point right now, and this new hire needs to be the right hire.
