Bruins win third straight game

Mar. 16—The Austin Bruins grabbed their third win in three days when they beat the Aberdeen Wings (26-22-2 overall) 5-1 in Riverside Arena Saturday.

Luc Malkhassian scored his 23rd and 24th goals of the season in the first period to get the Bruins going.

Carl Axelsson stopped 51 of the 52 shots he saw in net for Austin (36-10-3-2 overall).
